Since.
C+ O2 ---> CO2
1mol 1mol 1mol
12 g+32g 44g,
(2*16)
32g of O2 gives 44g of CO2.
16g of O2 gives ?.
So, (16*44)/32 = 22g,
we know, No.of moles = Given mass/Molar mass,
= 22/44,
= 1/2 = 0.5 moles.

no mole = given mass/ total mass so,
16/32= 0.5.
16/32= 0.5.

Molecular mass of CO2 is 44.
One mole of CO2 = 44 grams.
44 grams of CO2 contain 32 grams of Oxygen.
That means 32 grams of Oxygen is present in one mole of CO2.
In the same way 16 grams of oxygen will be present in 0.5 mole of CO2.

C + O2 -> CO2.
12 32 44gm.
16 gm mole of O2 contain is = weight in gram of the substance/molecular weight.
= 16/32.
= 0.5 gm.

The mass number of CO2 is 44 so we are going to used this to solved, the mass of 02 is 32 +c is 12 = 44 o 16/44= 0.37400~0.4 is the answer.

It is so simple we have given mass of oxygen is 16 gm and total mass=16*2= 32 we know that no of moles=given mass of oxygen/total mass oxygen.
