Answer is A: As moles of silver (21.6/108) = 0.2 and moles of water is also (1.8/18) = 0.1.

So H2O Dissociates into [H+] and [OH-]. So it has two hydrogen ion that can accept an electron [H+] and one that can donate an electron [OH-] when Ag is in its ionic form i.e. Ag+.

All options are incorrect because Any option does not show the same number of moles like silver= 21.6/108= 0.2 moles.

As we know quantities having equal no.of moles have equal no.of particles(atoms, ions molecules).

Moles of silver = 0.2.

Atoms of silver = 1.2044*10 raise to the power 23.

Moles of water = 0.110.

Atoms = 1.088*10 raise to the power 23.

Correct answer is (A).

Why Atoms of Silver = 1.2044*10 raise to the power 23.

Atoms of Water = 1.088*10 raise to the power 23.

Can you please explain?

The Same value we also have for c2h5oH.
4.6/46 = 0.1.

so, I am confused in A and D. to Please anyone explain in detail.

Avagadro theory state the no of atoms with the mole of a gas. We can not use that theory on liquid and solid. Right?

@Divya.

Atoms of silver = Given no. of moles*6.023x10^23.

= 0.2*6.023x10^23.

= 1.2044x10^23.

108.0 gm of silver = 1 atom of silver.

21.6 gm of silver = 21.6/108 =0.02.

No,
If option B is correct then it may be,
12 mole KMNO4=.2 mole KMNO4.

No of atoms = moles * Avogadro no.

So, Option A is correct.
