Hydrogen ions are in the body so the sodium chloride decomposed to form hydrogen ions and chlorine ions which the chlorine ion react with hydrogen in the body system to form small amount of hydrochloric acid.

I think, option B is right, because HCl is required for digestion, which is generally produced by NaCL, BY SOME METABOLIC ACTIVITY.
