we know that E=X(1/M^2*1/N^2), where M=2,N=3 putting this value of M,N so,
E=x(1/2*1/3^2)
E=x(1/4-1/9).
E=x (9-4)/36.
E =x.5/36=5x/36 answer.
E=x(1/2*1/3^2)
E=x(1/4-1/9).
E=x (9-4)/36.
E =x.5/36=5x/36 answer.

Formula (1/n1^2-1/n2^2). In this cause n1 = 2 & n2 = 3. So 5x/36.
