Potential energy is the energy stored in a body or in a system due to its position in a force field or due to its configuration.
Potential energy exists when a force acts upon an object that tends to restore it to a lower energy configuration i.e. when we apply energy to any system it stores the energy as Potential Energy and it wants to release these energies to come to the lower energy level. Eg- If a string is stressed then it stores the energy as PE and releases it by compression and get back to lower Energy level.
Energy is stored in battery as PE but neither in Sun nor in any other option.

Sun Generates Energy in terms of Light and Heat. It is the Energy radiated in Space. The Kinetic Energy of Sun is felt due to its Gravitational Field & as Subhankar had explained, there is no other source to impart Energy into the Sun, make it gain Potential Energy and then exert the same into atmosphere.
In case of a battery, the electrons formed due to chemical combination are at higher potential at cathode and thus find a path to return to a lower stable state, thus forming a potential difference between Cathode and Anode.

Potential energy means the energy which we can get without any motion device.
Kinetic energy means the energy which we can get from any motion.
Eg: wind energy, moving water energy for making electricity etc.
So battery provides energy without any motion i.e. static.
So it potential energy.

No, it is wrong.
The Potential Energy is any type of stored energy. It can be chemical, nuclear, gravitational, or mechanical.
Sun has Gravitational Potential Energy.
The battery has Chemical Potential Energy.

Potential energy is that energy which is stored in body or object, so battery stored energy, it is potential energy. BHANU sun is both P.E & K.E.

Potential energy is defined when there is a flow of charge in between the poles (positive - negative), in the case of battery this happens.

Sun has both because it has stored energy in the core but it is in motion as well and has a moving burning surface.

We use solar cell to get electricity from sun rays, which was an source but in case of battery it remains static

Battery is the source of chemical energy. Chemical energy is the potential of chemicals hence potential energy.
