When a p-n-p transistor is operating in active region, the current in the n region is due to
only holes
only electrons
mainly holes
mainly electrons

The Right answer is option B.
Because in a transistor base current in only due to minority charge career.
In PNP transistor minority charge career is the electron.

Because conduction will possible by majority carriers. So in n layer majority carriers are electrons.

How? Explain.

In the transistor, all the three major current Ie, Ib, Ic are diffusion current. In PNP transistor the base current is mainly due to electrons.
