What is the effect of cut in voltage on the wave form of output as compared to input in a semiconductor diode?
The duration of output waveform is less than 180°
Output voltage is less than input voltage
Output voltage is more than input voltage
Both (a) and (b)
Answer: Option
Explanation:

Hello.

I want clear explanation how o/p voltage duration reduces 180 degrees?

Duration of o/p wave is less than 180 cause of reducing c/n.

The output voltage reduced because of voltage drop across the diode & this cut in voltage is 0.7 volt but I want to know that how the duration of output waveform is less than 180?
