Look, solar system converts solar energy to electric energy and generator converts mechanical energy to electric energy and battery is already a energy source because its have a power to store energy.

And Rheostat gives variable resistances. There is not any energy source in it. Its received electric source and give the o/p of resistances.

Rheostat is a variable resistor. It has three terminals. 2 fixed terminals and one variable terminal to vary the resistance. It can be kept in either cut in or cut out position. If kept in cut out position it offers zero resistance. When kept in cut in position it provides the full resistance. The cut in nd cut out position is kept using the third terminal. Kindly see the pic of a rheostant you ll understand better.

Without rheostat other three are electrical source.

Rheostat is not a solar energy it is a two terminal types variable resistor.

Rheostat is not a energy source it is variable.

Rheostat is a variable resistance. Resistance absorbs the energy from sources.
