Rheostat is not a energy storage element only its dissipate energy in the form of heat.

I can change the resistance by Rheostat but not from the others.

Because they are use to get energy.

Rheostat is not energy source it will be used only increase are decrease the given voltage value in lab experiments.

Rheostat is the variable resistance i.e. we can vary the value of resistor using rheostat. Whereas all the other things are energy sources i.e. they generate power through many sources.

Three other options which are generator, solar cell, battery generate electricity but rheostat not giving any electricity. Rheostat is a variable resistance.

How the rheostat is variable resistance?

Generator = Mechanical Energy to Electrical Energy,
Solar cell = Light energy to Electrical Energy,
battey = Chemical enrgy to Electrical Energy.
Rheostat = Variable resistance
