In star connection line current = phase current,
Line voltage = 1/3 phase voltage.
And in delta connection line voltage = phase voltage,
Line current = root 3 phase voltage.
So, how is the answer 'd' correct?
By this star connection, the answer is 'c'. It's the right answer.
Line voltage = 1/3 phase voltage.
And in delta connection line voltage = phase voltage,
Line current = root 3 phase voltage.
So, how is the answer 'd' correct?
By this star connection, the answer is 'c'. It's the right answer.

In wye connection: Line voltage = square root of 3 multiplied to Phase voltage while Line current = Phase current
In delta connection: Line current = square root of 3 multiplied to Phase current while Line voltage = Phase voltage

In a three phase system star connection line voltage is root of three. So 2000kv multiply with root of three.
In delta connection: Line current = Square root of 3 multiplied to Phase current while Line voltage = Phase voltage.

For Y(Star connection): Line Voltage=1.732* phase Voltage
For Delta connection: Line Voltage= Phase Voltage.
Accordingly,
=2000*1.732
=3464.10 volts...
For Delta connection: Line Voltage= Phase Voltage.
Accordingly,
=2000*1.732
=3464.10 volts...

In Three phase system star connection vl = root(3)Vph.
Given,
2kv = vph Where root(3) = 1.732.
vl = 2000 * 1.732 =3464.
Given,
2kv = vph Where root(3) = 1.732.
vl = 2000 * 1.732 =3464.

In star connected systems,
Line voltage is √3 phase voltage .
i.e. = 2000 * √3 .
Hence 3464 is the answer.
Line voltage is √3 phase voltage .

Phase voltage is 2000 volts.
So line voltage mutiply with root3 valu = 1.732.
2000*1.732=3, 464volts.
So line voltage mutiply with root3 valu = 1.732.
2000*1.732=3, 464volts.

Line voltage = root three times of phase voltage
=1.732*2000
=3,464volts
=1.732*2000
=3,464volts
