Series resonance circuit as VL = -VC the resulting reactive voltages are zero and all the supply voltage is dropped across the resistor. Therefore, VR = V supply and it is for this reason that series resonance circuits are known as voltage resonance circuits. So option A that is 60 v.

The voltage across the inductor is Vl = I Xl, that is total current in the circuit multiplied with inductive reactance.

Voltage across inductor becomes +300v at same time voltage across the capacitor becomes -300v so both get cancel each other, and only voltage drop across are. But +300v is present across inductor at any instant, compared over all circuit voltage is 60v for inductor only its 300v.

The circuit is resonance so inductive reactance is equal to capacitive reactance so only resistor active circuit is voltage is 60v.

= 24/60 = 0.4 right.
