65,000 can be written as 65*1000
1000=10^3
65=6.5*10
Therefore 6.5*10^4
1000=10^3
65=6.5*10
Therefore 6.5*10^4

Look at the options oprionA: 0.65 is not between 1and 10
option B: 6.5 is the number between 1and 10
so 65000 means 6.5*10^4
and remaining options 65 and 650 also not the numbers between 1 and 10
So ans is optionB
option B: 6.5 is the number between 1and 10
so 65000 means 6.5*10^4
and remaining options 65 and 650 also not the numbers between 1 and 10
So ans is optionB

65000 = 65*1000.
65*10^3 = 6.5*10^3+1.
= 6.5*10^4.
65*10^3 = 6.5*10^3+1.
= 6.5*10^4.

@Ashish, If u add +1 must divide 10^-1.
Like as 6.5*10^3/10^-1.
Like as 6.5*10^3/10^-1.

Here, Without Solvation we can choose Answer cuz the question is asked between the number 1 and 10.. so I seen clearly Option {B} as answer
Lets discuss easy manner answer to question.
65,000 = 65*10^3 or
65,000 = 6.5*10^4 is the answer, by decreasing in left side to decimal point, we should add +0 to the right side.
