Four equal-value resistors are connected in parallel. Ten volts are applied across the parallel circuit and 2 mA are measured from the source. The value of each resistor is
12.5
200
20 K
50
Answer: Option
Explanation:

10/(R/4) = 2 mA

40/R = 2 mA

R = 40/2 mA

= 40/0.002 A

= 20000 kohm (20 kohm)

It can be explained in easy mode as 2 mA is total current so resistors are equal so 2/4= 0.5 mA in each and R = V/I.

10/ (0.5 x10 ^-3) = 20Kohm.

U = 10V.
I = 2mA = 0.002A.
R1 = R2 = R3 = R4 = Rn =?.

R = U/I = 10/0.002 = 5000 ohm.

R = Rn/n follow.

Rn = R*n = 5000*4 = 20000 ohm = 20k ohm.

USE OHM'S LAW:

V/I = R/4.
(4*V/I) = R.
(4*10/2mA) = R.
R = 20 kohm.

So simple total current is 2mA and total four resistance is equal value so 2/4 = 0.5mA.
So each resistance current is 0.5mA.
And in parallel voltage is same so voltage is 10v.

R = v/i = 10/0.5 = 20kohm.
