Resistor values can be known by the colour band.
0 black
1 blue
2 red
3 orange
4 yellow
5 green
6 blue
7 violet
8 grey
9 white

The resistor value is given by 1st 3 bands.
Start from left most band, 3rd value is a power of 10.

Ans: red(2), orange(3), orange(10^3).
So, the value becomes 23 * 10^3.

If resistor will contain 5 color bands then how can we able to determine it's value?

I think in this question we are assuming the minimum value of resistance, Hence the value of resistance is 23 * 10^3 - 10% = 22.7 * 10^3,
Now, V/R = I,
=> 50/22.7 * 10^3 = 2.20 mA.

23 * 10^3 (this is for red, orange, orange) then what about silver?

SO RED is 2 orange 3 and third orange 10 to the power of that value so 10000.

So R = 23000.
as we know that v = IR.
I = V/R.
= 50/23000,
= 2.2mA.
