N = 120f/P.
where N=speed in rpm.
f = frequency.
P = Numbers of poles.
then calculate;
N=?, f = 800Hz, P = 4,
N=120 * 800/4.
= 24,000rpm
then 24,000 convert into rps because options are given in rps that's why we convert into rps.
i.e 24,000/60 = 400rps.

Can we also have the answer in rads/sec?
Anyone, explain it please.

Same calculate Rpm than calculate Rps N = 120f/p = rpm/60 for convert rps.

N = 120f/p.
= 120*800/4 = 96000/4.
= 24000 rpm.
Then in RPS:
= 24000/60 = 400rps.
= 120*800/4 = 96000/4.
= 24000 rpm.
Then in RPS:
= 24000/60 = 400rps.

1 RPS = 60 RPM.
And 1 RPM = 1/60 RPS or 0.1666 RPS.
The standard unit is RPM, but we have to convert it into RPS for this question.

Given data:
F = 800 Hz p = 4 poles = 4/2 = 2 pair of poles.
Then Ns = 120*800/4 = 24000 rpm means that you can also use pair of pole using the following formula Ns = 60*800/2 = 24000 rpm you can convert rpm in rps like this 24000/60 = 400.
Thank you.

N = 2*(f/p); speed in rps.
N = 2*(800/4)†\'2*200 = 400.
N = 2*(800/4)†\'2*200 = 400.

F = (PN)%120, where f in Hz, N in rpm.
Given f = 800Hz, P = 4.
By applying formula:
800Hz = (4*N)% 120.
=> N = 24000 rpm.
=> N = 24000% 60 = 400 rps.
Given f = 800Hz, P = 4.
By applying formula:
800Hz = (4*N)% 120.
=> N = 24000 rpm.
=> N = 24000% 60 = 400 rps.
