All formula shown by our friends are clear as crystal. RPS means Revolutions Per Second.

Please give clear formula. And what is rps?

N=?
Given data,
P=4.
f= 800Hz.

We know,
N= 120 f/P RPM.

=> N= 120*800/4.
=> N= 24000rpm.
=> N= 24000/60 rps.

Therefore N= 400rps.

N = 2F/P rps.

N = (2x800)/4.

N = 400 rps.

What is the 60 here?

Frequency = No of poles x Revolution Rate.
f = (2 * 400 rps).
f = 800 hz.

All showed same formula but differed in arrangement.

Every engineer has different creative. It is shown here.

N = 120f/p.

= 120*800/4.

= 120*200.

= 24000 rpm.

= 24000/60 rps.

= 400.

N=120F/P.

N=120*800/4.

N=24000.

To convert it into rps.

24000/60 = 400.
