Vavg = (1/π) * integral(sinwt) , wt from 0 toπ. (Half wave)
Vavg = 40/π * [cos(0) - cos(pi)]
Vavg = 80/π
Vavg = 25.47v.

Vavg = 40/π * [cos(0) - cos(pi)]
Vavg = 80/π

Average Half Cycle Value = 2V / pi
= 2 * 40 / 3.14
= 25.48
= 2 * 40 / 3.14
= 25.48

25.48 not wrong. Becuse always average value taken for half cycle. For complete cycle its value zero.

For Sine Half wave value should be= Vp/π
For Sine Full Wave its value becomes= 2 Vp/π.
For Sine Full Wave its value becomes= 2 Vp/π.

Integrate 40 sin t = 0, pi.
We get 2*40 = 80 then divide by pi.
We get 25.48 = ans.
