If clock is high then the D flip flop operate and we know that input is equals to output in case d flip flop.

Since D flip-flop is a modification of SR flip-flop. So, the D is connected to S and ~D is connected to R.

So, D=S and When D=0,S=0 and Q=0 according to the truth table of flip-flop and hence for D = 1.

So, we can conclude that Q follows the input D when clock is held high.
