I think a triangle in the ff means positive edge trigger so for negative edge there is a triangle + a bubble It means that for edge trigger there must be a triangle which means there is, +ve edge trigger is necessary.

2) Negative Edge-triggered flip-flops it must detect high to low transition edge may be question Positive Edge-triggered ff.

Negative edge detection: Action takes place at high to low transition edge.

Edge triggered flip flops may also be a negative edge triggered flipflop.
