We have 60% of 50 = ( 60 x 50 ) = 30.

It should have been 32 + 9 = 41.

Since it is 30 and above that means even 40 and above students also are supposed to be considered.

30 and above = 32
40 and above = 09
________________
So, total = 41.

Because at least meant 60 %. Thats mean we should include also 40 and above. If I'm wrong, please correct me.

We should have to calculate the number of students who got 40 and above also. Am I right?

(0 - 9)-8; (10 - 19)-12; (20 - 29)-48 - (30 - 39)-23; (40 - 50)-9.

The question says at least 60%, here 60% mark is 30.

30 and above marks column mentioned 23 + 9 = 32 students.

So the answer must be 'option B'.

Friends, 32 is correct because look at the chart it is mentioned that "30 and above" i.e. all the students whose marks are between 30 - 50 are already included in it. Had it been 30 - 40 and then 40 - 50 then we should have considered 32 + 9 = 41.
