Its that needs to divide twice?
1st 451 divide by 586 = 0.77 (approx).
2nd time 586 divide by 451 = 1.3.
Is this is the way to calculate? Please suggest. Thanks.

Guys,
I hope you understood how we got to 451/586.
Now just divide numerator and denominator with 451.
i.e. , (451/451)/(586/451) and that is equal to 1/1.29. So rounding off the denominator to one digit gives 1/1.3.
Now multiplying numerator and denominator by 10 gives (1*10)/(1.3*10).
And thus we arrive at the solution i.e. , 10/13.

Guys if the question is the ratio between the Fuel.
And Transport (586) the total expenditure on Taxes (451) mean when the condition is 586/451 then what answer of that question please explain that.

@Pihu.
Very simple method: (approximation).
(451 - 1) = 450 and (586 - 1) = 585.
Now take these 2 values for calculation (we have subtracted the same amount from both numbers).
Ratio = 450/585 = 90/117 = 30/39 = 10/13.
Then, ratio = 10:13.
