9% of 5700 becomes 9% x 5700. But, 8% of 8550 remains the same. Why?

Step 1: 9/360 x 5700 = 142.5.

Step 2: 8/360 x 8550 = 190.

Step 3: Percentage => 142.5/190 x 100 = 75%.

{[(9% of 100)*5700/(8% of 100)*8550]*100}% = {[9/100*8*100*5700*8550]*100}%.

={[29/38]*100}%.

= {0.76*100}%.

= Approx 76%.

Can you give some formula to calculate percentage easily like.

I divide 9*5700/8*8550 then it comes finally 57/76, to this its a lengthy process. Give some sort calculation formula.

How do we get 8%8550?

10%-1% = 9%.

So,
5700*10% = 570.
5700*1% = 57.

570-57 = 513 or 5700*9/100 = 513.
