The ₹8,000 crore MoU for the 1,500 MW Panchmauli-Devalipada Pumped Storage Hydroelectric Project was signed by the Maharashtra government with GSC PSP Maha Pvt Ltd. This large-scale renewable energy initiative, located in Dhule and Nandurbar districts, aims to generate 2,500 jobs and ₹1,100 crore annual revenue. By utilizing 19.29 TMC of initial water storage, the project demonstrates Maharashtra’s commitment to expanding sustainable power infrastructure and strengthening its position in India’s renewable energy sector.

Maharashtra became the first Indian state to sign a formal agreement with Elon Musk’s Starlink, a SpaceX initiative, to deliver satellite-based internet across remote and underserved areas. Through this partnership, Starlink’s low-Earth orbit (LEO) satellite technology will provide high-speed, low-latency internet to government institutions, rural and tribal communities, and aspirational districts such as Gadchiroli, Nandurbar, Washim, and Dharashiv. The initiative supports the state’s “Digital Maharashtra” mission by enhancing e-governance, telemedicine, online education, and disaster response systems while strengthening connectivity in regions with limited terrestrial infrastructure.

Telangana has launched the Telangana Artificial Intelligence Innovation Hub (TAIH) in Hyderabad to establish itself as a global leader in emerging technologies by 2035. Spearheaded by Minister D. Sridhar Babu, the hub aims to unite academia, industry and startups to advance AI-based innovation and research. Collaborators include institutions such as IIT Hyderabad, BITS Pilani, ISB, and global tech giants like Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. The initiative reflects Telangana’s strategic transition from an IT-services powerhouse to a frontier technology leader and aligns with India’s national focus on AI-driven innovation and digital growth.

The Integrated Sohra Tourism Circuit was launched in Meghalaya under the PM-DevINE scheme, with Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia laying its foundation. Valued at ₹233 crore, this project aims to develop Sohra (Cherrapunji) into a model destination for sustainable tourism. It forms part of the larger ₹650 crore initiative focusing on tourism, connectivity, and regional development in the Northeast. Additionally, key infrastructure projects such as the Shillong–Silchar Expressway, Umroi Airport expansion, and New Shillong City initiative are being implemented to boost Meghalaya’s economic growth and tourism potential in the region.

The ‘Cyber Jago’ programme was launched by the Punjab Police’s Cyber Crime Division with the objective of educating government school students about internet safety and responsible online behavior. The initiative also emphasizes the role of teachers and parents in building awareness through open discussions on online risks and preventive measures. As a statewide effort, Cyber Jago aims to safeguard the younger generation from cyber threats, empowering them with knowledge to navigate the digital world securely while fostering a culture of responsible internet usage across Punjab.
