Two remote tribal hamlets, Buriga and China Konela, located in Andhra Pradesh's ASR district, celebrated "freedom from darkness" after receiving electricity for the first time in 78 years. Manipur has been facing ethnic violence between the Kuki–Zo and Meitei communities since May 2023, resulting in significant loss of life and displacement. 114 infrastructure projects worth ₹1,028 crore were inaugurated in Uttar Pradesh by Rajnath Singh, Nitin Gadkari, and Yogi Adityanath.
