Karnataka has introduced an automatic property mutation system as part of its broader push to digitise land records and modernise revenue administration. The reform enables ownership details to be updated automatically in land revenue records immediately after property registration, eliminating the need for separate mutation applications. This initiative aims to reduce bureaucratic delays, enhance transparency, and minimise land disputes. By integrating registration offices with digital land record platforms such as the Bhoomi Portal, the state seeks to improve ease of doing business, boost investor confidence, and ensure faster, more reliable property transactions.

Nagaland is the Indian state where the Frontier Nagaland Territorial Authority has been proposed as a new autonomous administrative body. The FNTA was established through a tripartite agreement between the Centre, the Nagaland government, and the Eastern Nagaland Peoples Organization to address long-standing demands of the eastern districts. The arrangement seeks to provide greater administrative and financial autonomy while maintaining the state’s territorial integrity. It also ensures that constitutional protections under Article 371(A) remain intact, balancing local aspirations with governance, development, and regional stability in the Northeast.

India’s first indigenous Green Urea plant is planned at the Pudimadaka Green Hydrogen Hub in Andhra Pradesh through a collaboration between NTPC Green Energy Ltd and Assago. The project will use renewable hydrogen and green ammonia, marking a major step toward sustainable fertilizer production. By supplying green ammonia, carbon dioxide, and renewable energy, the initiative aims to significantly reduce India’s dependence on urea imports, which currently range between 8–10 million tonnes annually. Locating the project in Andhra Pradesh strengthens the state’s role in green energy infrastructure while supporting national goals of lowering carbon emissions and enhancing self-reliance.

India’s first live National UAV Test and Innovation Corridor is planned to be launched at Rangeilunda, a repurposed commercial airport designed for real-world drone testing. This major initiative is being undertaken by the state of Odisha to support advanced and dynamic airspace testing for unmanned aerial vehicles. The corridor will facilitate testing of drone technologies such as swarm operations, artificial intelligence-based navigation, and other next-generation UAV capabilities. Developed in collaboration with BonV Aero and aligned with the B-MAAN scheme, the project is expected to play a crucial role in shaping India’s national UAV policy and innovation ecosystem.

Gujarat has emerged as the leading state in India in terms of renewable energy capacity, contributing 16.5 per cent of the national total as of December 2025. With an installed capacity of 42.583 GW, the state ranks at the top in wind energy, solar power, and rooftop solar installations. Gujarat has achieved 25,529 MW of solar capacity and 14,820 MW of wind capacity, along with more than 11 lakh rooftop solar installations. The state is also home to the world’s largest Khavda Renewable Energy Park, supporting India’s goal of generating 50 percent of electricity from renewable sources by 2030.
