Operation Chakravyuh was launched by the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) on May 30, 2026, to combat organised drug trafficking networks in Kerala. Authorities apprehended five individuals under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, 1985. Tripura launched the ₹236 crore Mission Queen Pineapple on May 27, 2026, in collaboration with the Union Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER). The initiative is designed as a three-year roadmap from FY2026 to FY2028 to strengthen the production, processing, and marketing of the GI-tagged Queen Pineapple, which is one of the state’s key horticultural products. Telangana inaugurated a ₹3 crore solar power plant managed entirely by women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) under the Indira Mahila Shakti scheme on May 27, 2026. The project is located in Venkatapuram village in Errupalem mandal of Madhira constituency in Khammam district. It represents a major step in empowering women economically by involving SHGs in renewable energy production and management.
