Nagaland launched Mission Punarutthan during the Watershed Mahotsav 2025 to promote water security, restore natural springs, and strengthen watershed systems across villages. The initiative emphasises community-led conservation, where local residents actively participate in protecting water bodies. Supported by schemes like MGNREGA and PMKSY, the program aims to improve soil health, increase water availability, and enhance rural livelihoods. Nagaland’s efforts include repairing water-harvesting structures, reviving natural springs, and benefiting thousands of farmers, thereby contributing to sustainable development and climate resilience in the state.

Maharashtra is emerging as a major destination for global investments, with Brookfield announcing a $1 billion project to build Asia’s largest Global Capability Centre in Mumbai’s Powai. Spread across 6 acres with 2 million square feet of Grade-A workspace, the campus will support a multinational bank on a long-term lease and is expected to generate over 30,000 jobs by 2029. Chhattisgarh has marked an important achievement in environmental conservation with the declaration of Kopra Reservoir as its first Ramsar Site. Kerala has launched its first Gen-Z Post Office Extension Counter at CMS College, Kottayam, designed entirely by students to create a modern, student-centric postal experience. The counter combines functional postal services with innovative community spaces, including eco-friendly seating, vertical gardens, charging stations, and a recreation zone. Equipped with MPCM facilities, packaging support, and a MyStamp printer, the initiative aims to blend traditional postal services with contemporary, sustainable design. Telangana hosted the Rising Global Summit to accelerate economic growth and position itself as a hub for advanced industries. The summit saw the signing of 35 MoUs worth ₹2.43 lakh crore and secured a ₹75,000 crore investment from Brookfield/Axis Ventures for Bharat Future City. These commitments reflect the state’s focus on deep tech, green energy, aerospace, and digital infrastructure, demonstrating investor confidence.
