Gujarat has been selected to host the 70th edition of the Filmfare Awards in 2025, making it the second year in a row for the state to organize this prestigious event. The decision follows the successful hosting of the 2024 ceremony at GIFT City in Gandhinagar. An MoU was signed between Gujarat Tourism Corporation and Worldwide Media (WWM) to facilitate the arrangements. The Filmfare Awards are among the most celebrated platforms recognizing artistic and technical excellence in Hindi cinema. Hosting such an event strengthens Gujarat’s position as a growing hub for cultural and entertainment activities.
