Berlin, Germany, hosted the World Health Summit 2026 from October 11 to 13 under the theme “From Crisis to Resilience: Innovating for Health.” Organized by the World Health Summit Foundation in connection with Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, the summit brought together more than 4,000 on-site participants from 130 countries and territories. Discussions focused on strengthening global health systems, improving women’s and maternal health, preventing stillbirths, and addressing emerging threats such as the misuse of artificial intelligence and nuclear warfare. Major announcements included a €250 million program for women’s health in Bangladesh and a $100 million initiative to reduce stillbirths. The annual summit has been held in Berlin since its establishment in 2009.
