India became one of 15 countries granted access to Claude Mythos, an advanced cybersecurity-focused AI model developed under Anthropic's Project Glasswing initiative. Launched in April 2026, Project Glasswing aims to strengthen the security of critical digital infrastructure across sectors such as banking, communications, and public services. The initiative includes 150 organisations worldwide and partners with major technology companies and institutions. Claude Mythos is specifically designed to analyse large software codebases and detect long-hidden security vulnerabilities. Due to its powerful cybersecurity capabilities, access to the model is restricted to authorised participants to prevent misuse by malicious actors.
