World Hepatitis Day is observed every year on July 28 to raise awareness about viral hepatitis and encourage prevention, early testing, vaccination, and treatment. The 2026 theme, "Hepatitis: Let's Break It Down," emphasises removing barriers to healthcare, improving access to screening and treatment, reducing stigma, and strengthening global efforts to eliminate viral hepatitis as a public health threat by 2030.
