Cyclone Arnab was forecast to make landfall along the Andhra Pradesh and Yanam coasts on October 28, 2026, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The probable landfall zone extended from Bapatla to Visakhapatnam. The storm was expected to intensify into a very severe cyclonic storm, with sustained wind speeds of 115–125 kmph and gusts reaching 140 kmph.
