M+R=2j for statically determinate structure.
M+R>2j for statically indeterminate structure.
M+R< 2j for unstable structure.

Here;
M = members.
R = reaction.
J = joints.
Or
R=3n(determinate).
R>3n(indeterminate),
R<3n (unstable).

Since support reactions are 4 and equilibrium equations were 3 and because of a hinge 1 additional equilibrium will be added So,

D = R-S.
R = 4.
S = 3+1 = 4.
D = 4-4 = 0.
Statically determinate.

We know that D = R-S.

So, support reaction is 4, equilibrium equations 3, because it is hinged.

So, D = 4-4 = 0.

It is statistical.

We know that D= R-3N.
Here R 6each hing reaction 2 so 3 hinged = 6.
Now mamber = 2.
so put hte value in eqution,
D=6-(3*2),
= 0.

R=3n(determinate).
R>3n(indeterminate),
R<3n (unstable).

R = no of reaction and N = no of the member.

D=R-3N where R=6 b/c of 3 hinges and N=2 two member so D=6-3*2=0.

So, what's the degree of freedom for a 3 hinged bar?

3 hinge arch has D=0 that's why option A is correct.

Why it was statically determinate structure?
