Vertical reaction = wt Of cylinder - vertical Force.
Vertical force= specific weight * volume,
= 1000 * &pie; *1.5^2 * 4/2.
= 14137 kgf.
Ra= 20000-14137 = 5863 kgf.

Option A is correct.
Fy = 1000 * 9.81 * ( 3.14 * 1.5^2 * 4/2) = 138685.60 N.
138685.60 ÷ 9.81 = 14137.16 kgf.
Fy = 1000 * 9.81 * ( 3.14 * 1.5^2 * 4/2) = 138685.60 N.
138685.60 ÷ 9.81 = 14137.16 kgf.

(3.14 * 3^2 * 0.25 * 4 * 2000 + 1000 * 3)/9.81 = 6070.2.

The correct answer should be 12137. 1669 Newton this reaction is acting downward because the upward forces more than downward.
