As per IRC if r>300 then no need to provide extra widening.
If r<50 then extra widening provided on only one side.
And if 'r' is 8n between 50 to 300m then extra widening provided on both sides.

For single lane road r>100 , extra widening=0
For double lane road r>300, extra widening=0

In question, they have not mentioned whether it is a single lane or double lane road. so the question is contradictory.

150 lies between 5>R>300, so EW provide in both side.

Refer to the IRC recommendations for extra widening of pavements on hill roads:

For a curve with radius:

Less than 25 m: 1.5 m.
25 m to 50 m: 1.0 m.
50 m to 100 m: 0.6 m.
100 m to 300 m: 0.5 m.
More than 300 m: 0.0 m.
So, the Answer is 0.5m.

As per IRC, in hilly roads r>50m, so no need to provide extra widening.
