The given trapezoid can be divided into one rectangle and two triangles on both sides (to calculate the area).
Tthen for the first trapezoid, rectangular area = b1 * h.
area of both triangles together = s * h(^2).
total area =A1 = (b1*h) + (s*h(^2)).
Like that for second trapezoid, area = A2 = (b2*h)+(s*h^2).
trapezoid area = A1+A2 = (b1*h) + (s*h(^2)) + (b2*h)+(s*h^2).
= (b1+b2)h + 2sh^2.

A1 = (2b1+2sh)*h/2 = (b1+sh)h.
Similarly, A2 = (b2+sh)h.
A = A1+A2 = (b1+b2)h+2sh^2.
Similarly, A2 = (b2+sh)h.
A = A1+A2 = (b1+b2)h+2sh^2.

A1 = (2b1+2sh)*h/2 = (b1+sh)h.
Therefore, A2 = (b2+sh)h.
A = A1+A2 = (b1+b2)h+2sh^2.
Therefore, A2 = (b2+sh)h.
A = A1+A2 = (b1+b2)h+2sh^2.

Here, V = [a1+a2]/2 x h x 2.
