I think, This question is not correct because center to center distance not to be measured in long wall short wall method. Center to center method is already fixed. So that long wall will be measured outer to outer and short wall eill be measured inner to inner.

The short wall is calculated in short wall long wall method by deducting the half breadth of each wall from the centre to centre distance. Hence the question is correct, I think.

Only B is correct. Because in case if you have Walls of different sizes on either side. i.e if you 've 300mm on one side and 150mm on other.

The answer is correct because centre to centre distance is already concluded in question! so half thickness on both sides is only needed.

The length of long wall, (out to out) may be calculated after adding half breadth at each end to its centre line length.
Thus the length of short wall measured into in and may be found by deducting half breadth from its centre line length at each end.

I think question itself wrong. in long wall=out to out length+(breadth of item-thickness of wall ).
In short wall = in to in length -(breadth of item -thickness of wall).
In short wall = in to in length -(breadth of item -thickness of wall).
