Negative float, also known as negative slack, is the amount of time beyond aproject's scheduled completion that a task within the project requires. Total float is the amount of time a task within a project can be delayed without endangering theproject deadline. Hence all the options are correct.

Float and slack are analogous, not totally same.
Floats are classified as;
1) Total float
2) Free float
3) Independent float
4) interfering float
So, I think option (c) is correct.

Except for critical path, all other network paths have different completion time and if any path has more or less or equal time then the critical path, then that path is called +ve, -ve or = FLOAT.
