Sea water construction always "High Alumina cement" is suitable.

Repairing work and Road maintained purpose - Rapid Hardening cement.

Sulphate resisting cement - Canal Lining.

Rapid hardening cement should be used in road work, maintenance work, bridge etc. And for underwater construction, Quick setting cement should be used.

IS 456:2000, Cl 8.2.8.

For sea water:-
PCC - M20.
RCC - M30.

Use PPC or Slag cement.

Pozzolana cement is widely used for hydraulic structures such as a dam, wiers etc.

Whereas High alumina cement is used for a structure subjected to seawater, chemical plants, and furnaces.

As per IS code 8.2.8 the use of slag or pozzolana cement seawater.
