IS:1489(part-I ) -1991 (using flyash).
It gives low heat of hydration and reduces the leaching of calcium hydroxide. This cement should be used only after proper evaluation. This should be tested as per IS:1489 (Pt I) " 1991. It is used for:
- Hydraulic structures-dams, retaining walls.
- Marine structures.
- Mass concrete works- like bridge footings.
- Under aggressive conditions.
- Masonry mortar and plastering.

A is the right answer. You have to go for the characteristic of pozzolana cement ie increase curing time (as it is in water), makes low permeability means makes impermeable (as waters try to enter but pozzolana resists that), and low heat of hydration. So a portland pozzolana cement can do the job.

Pozzolana cement is widely used for hydraulic structures such as a dam, wiers etc.
Whereas High alumina cement is used for a structure subjected to seawater, chemical plants, and furnaces.

@Md Aqeel.
Rapid hardening cement should be used in road work, maintenance work, bridge etc. And for underwater construction, Quick setting cement should be used.

High Alumina Cement - Sea water.
Low heat cement - Dams.
Sulphate resisting cement - Canal Lining.

Portland pozzolana cement is used under water constructions.
1) Pozzolana causes impermeability.
2) pozzolana resist chemical and sulphide attack.

Sea water construction always "High Alumina cement" is suitable.
Repairing work and Road maintained purpose - Rapid Hardening cement.

There is more sulphates presence in sea water and PPC is a good sulphate resisting cement. So A option is correct.

Porland pozzolana cement use because it is a sulphate resisting cement, high alumina to should be in the option.
