The normal range for the amount of water used to mix each 50 kg bag of cement is between 20 liters and 30 liters.

Water requires= (45% of cement+25% of filling gel pores).

Water requires= (45%*50 + 25%*50) =35 kg/litre.

For a general purpose, w/c ratio is .45.

So, water required for 1 bag of cement (=50kg) is 22.5 ltrs.

Maximum W/C Ratio = 0.7.

Minimum W/C Ratio = 0.2.

The result for maximum w/c ratio is 35 kg/bag.

Simple, the unit should be in litres not kg so the answer is correct, only it should be in litres.

I am confused with question, water required per bag of cement? for what, is it concrete or mortar.

Could anyone explain about this because min w/c ratio is 0.22 required with reaction of cement.

Minimum water cement ratio is 0.45.
with that 50kg(1bag) x 0.45= 22.5 is the correct answer.
