It should be 700, because aircraft and the air have the same direction, now the airspeed be the relative of both, which must be 700.

As we know, When the wind is blowing in the direction of the flight, airspeed is less than cruising speed.

Therefore 775-75=700 knots.

So, here 675 knots is the nearest answer to this, Hence 675knots is correct.

700knots is correct. But since 675knots is nearest to 700 than other options.

So, Ground speed is how fast an aeroplane is travelling, relative to a fixed point on the ground. Think of it this way: Ground speed is how fast an aeroplane's shadow would move across the land. If there's a strong wind pushing an aircraft, that's reflected in the ground speed.

Airspeed is how fast an aeroplane is really flying strictly under its own power, which is calculated by subtracting the wind speed from the ground speed.

775 + 75 = 850.

Aircraft speed = ground speed+/- air speed.

(+ For the same direction, '-' for the opposite direction).

700 is the correct answer.

850 is a blunder.

Right @Haroon.

775+75=850 is the correct answer.

It is 850knot the air blowing speed is in the same direction so 775+75 = 850knots,
If it is in the opposite direction.
775-75 = 700knots.
