The hot junction of the thermocouple is placed in a bath at 80°C and the cold junction is at 20°C.

The EMF of thermocouple=emf(hot junction)-emf(cold junction),
=emf(80)-emf(20) = 3.26-0.80,
= 2.46 mv.

Temperature difference is 80-20=60 and at 60 emf generate is 2.43. So right answer is 2.43.

emf(80)-emf(20) = 3.26-0.80 = 2.46.
