3(1/6+1/8+1/x) = 1
=> 1/x = 1/24,
1/6:1/8:1/24= 4:3:1,
3200 * 1/8 = 400.
=> 1/x = 1/24,
1/6:1/8:1/24= 4:3:1,
3200 * 1/8 = 400.

A can complete the work in 6 days means.
A = 3200/6 = 533.33.
B can complete the work in 8 days means.
B = 3200/8 = 400.
Now add A+B=933.3.
All can complete the work in 3days so multiply (A+B) with 3 now the answer is 2799. 899.
Now we can find the C value by substrating 2799.899 with 3200 which is approximately 400 so the value of C is 400.
A = 3200/6 = 533.33.
B can complete the work in 8 days means.
B = 3200/8 = 400.

We can even do it like;
C's share for 3 days = (1/(4+3+1) * 3200),
= 1/8 * 3200,
= 400.
C's share for 3 days = (1/(4+3+1) * 3200),
= 1/8 * 3200,
= 400.

@Pradeep Koney.
It's very simply elaborated and easy to understand. Thanks.

C's share = total or given profit (money-3200) * (c's ratio(1/24)/sum of all ratios(3)
= 3200*3/24.
(NOTE : Sum of all ratios = 1/8 +1/6 + 1/24).
= 3200*3/24.
(NOTE : Sum of all ratios = 1/8 +1/6 + 1/24).

A+B = 1/6+1/8 = 7/24.
7/24*3 = 7/8.
REMAINING WORK---> 1/8.
1/8 * 3200 = 400 rs.
7/24*3 = 7/8.
REMAINING WORK---> 1/8.
1/8 * 3200 = 400 rs.

Its too easy.
A can do a job in 6 days: A=6.
B can do a job in 8 days: B=8.
6&8 LCM is 24.
Now, 6 * 4 = 24(A). 8 * 3 = 24(B).
A + B + C = 3Days, 3 * 8 = 24(A+B+C).
If ABC= 8 and A is 4 And B is 3.
So, (4-3 = 1:C) : C= 1.
Now ratio will be 4:3:1.
And C =400.

@All
Here, we have to find C's 1day work.
A's1day + B's1day + C's1day = total work done in one day for 3 days by A+B+C.
= 1/6 + 1/8 + C = 1/3.
(1/6+1/8) + C = 1/3.
(7/24)+C = 1/3.
Therefore, C= 1/3-7/24.
C=1/24.
Am I right? Please clarify me.

A = 6
B = 8
A + B + C = 3
C = ?.
Lcm = 24
A = 4, B = 3,A + B + C = 8.
C = 8 - 7 = 1,
C = 1.
Money = 3200/8 = 400.
C = 1 * 400 = 400.
Answer is 400.

if a &b end the job they take 3200.
a = 1/6.
b = 1/8.
a+b+c = 1/3.
1/6 + 1/8 + 1/c = 1/3.
1/c = 1/3 - 7/24.
1/c = 1/24.
if c works for 24/24 days it will take 3200.
but it works for 3 days 3/24.
So 3200*3/24 divided by 24/24.
Then answer is 400.
a = 1/6.
b = 1/8.
a+b+c = 1/3.
1/6 + 1/8 + 1/c = 1/3.
1/c = 1/3 - 7/24.
1/c = 1/24.
if c works for 24/24 days it will take 3200.
but it works for 3 days 3/24.
So 3200*3/24 divided by 24/24.
Then answer is 400.
