Third number = x

First number = 20x/100

Second number = 50x/100

Assuming x = 10.

Put the value'

= (20*10/100) + 10 = 12,

= (50*10/100) + 10 = 15,

= 12:15.

= 4:5.

First number = 20x/100

Second number = 50x/100

Assuming x = 10.

Put the value'

= (20*10/100) + 10 = 12,

= (50*10/100) + 10 = 15,

= 12:15.

= 4:5.

@Sujaathasree.

If the percentage increases or mentioned directly we can take it as 100+20% since the percentage increases directly to 100 and if loss or decrease by 20% then we should do 100-20%.

Let c 100.

A = 120.

B = 150.

So the ratio of A to B.

120/150.

4 : 5.

A = 120.

B = 150.

So the ratio of A to B.

120/150.

4 : 5.

20% -----> 4*5=20%

50% ------> 5*10=50%

Ratio is ---- (c) 4 : 5.

So, Option (C) is the Right answer.
