Please explain me clearly a4/15 and b2/5 how will 3/2 came please I'm not getting this.

No need to make complex its easy.

Because of question ask about result of b.

A = 1210, B = 1210;

2/5*B = 2/5*1210.

= 484.

Why to find ratio of A and B?

KailashThakur said:   1 decade ago
A:B = 2/5 : 4/15 = 3:2.

B = 1210/(3+2)*2 = 484.

I don't get it. How do you find B's amount directly?

From where did you get the 3/2?

Vijaysingh said:   1 decade ago
Simply we can solve by simultaneous equation.

A+B = 1210.......equation 1.

(4/15)A = (2/5)B.......equation 2.

(4/15)1210-B = 2/5 B.

B = 484.

That's it.
