Please tell me how can find the ratio 4:15 for A and 2:15 for B?

My questions are:
1. If 2\5*1210 = 484 works for B.
Then A should be 4/15*1210. But it doesn't give the answer.
2. Why we are calculating A:B?

Can find answer using simultaneous equations too?

We have to just divide 2/5 from 1210. To prove that they both are not equal that's why they take ratio.

A + B = 1210.
B = 1210 - A.
(4/15)A = (2/5)B = (6/15)B.
B = (4/15) * (15/6)A.
= (2/3)A.
A + (2/3)A = 1210.
(3A/3) + (2A/3) = 1210.
5A/3 = 1210.
A =1210 * (3/5).
= 726.
B = 1210 - 726.
=484.
B = 1210 - A.
(4/15)A = (2/5)B = (6/15)B.
B = (4/15) * (15/6)A.
= (2/3)A.
A + (2/3)A = 1210.
(3A/3) + (2A/3) = 1210.
5A/3 = 1210.
A =1210 * (3/5).
= 726.
B = 1210 - 726.
=484.

The ratio a : b is different from that of ad : bc.
2 : 3 is the answer for ad : bc but not a : b.
A(4/15) = B(2/5).
As per the rules of the ratio, it is written as;
4/15 = 4 :15 and 2/5 = 2:5.
Because they didn't mention the ratios of the amounts they had. They mentioned about the relation between those ratios.
A(4/15) = B(2/5) then A : B is 3 : 2.
And amount of B is 3/(3 + 2) * 1210 = 484.

2 : 3 is the answer for ad : bc but not a : b.
A(4/15) = B(2/5).

A(4/15) = B(2/5) then A : B is 3 : 2.
And amount of B is 3/(3 + 2) * 1210 = 484.

The simple way is;
2/5 * 15/4 = 3/2.
A : B = 3 : 2.
5 -----> 1210.
then 2 --------> 1210 * 2/5 = 484.
2/5 * 15/4 = 3/2.
A : B = 3 : 2.
5 -----> 1210.
then 2 --------> 1210 * 2/5 = 484.

a/b = 3/2, a:b = 3:2
5 ----> 1210
2 ----> 484
5 ----> 1210
2 ----> 484
