Speed = (60 x 5/18)m/sec=(50/3)m/sec.
Length of the train = (Speed x Time).
Length of the train = (50/3 x 9)m = 150 m.
Length of the train = (Speed x Time).
Length of the train = (50/3 x 9)m = 150 m.

@Koushik Reddy.
We use 5/18 to convert from km/hr to m/s in order to find the solution in terms of metres/seconds.

Length of the train = L.
L = Speed (s)*Time (T).
L = S*T.
L = 60*5/18*9.
L = 60*5/2.
L = 300/2=>L = 150 m.
L = Speed (s)*Time (T).
L = S*T.
L = 60*5/18*9.
L = 60*5/2.
L = 300/2=>L = 150 m.

Easy to improve our knowledge.
1 hour = 3600 secs.
1 km = 1000 m.
3600/1000 = 36/10 = 5/18.
60*5/18*9 = 150 m.
1 hour = 3600 secs.
1 km = 1000 m.
3600/1000 = 36/10 = 5/18.
60*5/18*9 = 150 m.

60km/hr X (9s x 1min/60s x 1hr/60min) = 60km/hr * 2.5x10^-3hr.
km/hr * hr = km.
So, the answer is 0.15km or 150m.
km/hr * hr = km.
So, the answer is 0.15km or 150m.

Given;
60 km = 60 * 1000 = 60,000m
1 Hr = 60 * 60 = 3600 Sec.
Solution:
60,000/3600 * 9 Sec. = 150m.
60 km = 60 * 1000 = 60,000m
1 Hr = 60 * 60 = 3600 Sec.
Solution:
60,000/3600 * 9 Sec. = 150m.

We have to multiply 5/18 to convert the km/hr to m/s.
We have to convert it because time is given in seconds.
We have to convert it because time is given in seconds.
