Data:
T=9,
S=?,
L=?
Time = length/seconds.
S = 60*5/18.
S = 16.6666,
T = L/S.
9 = L/16.6666,
L = 9×16.6666,
L = 149.9,
L = 150.
T=9,
S=?,
L=?
Time = length/seconds.
S = 60*5/18.
S = 16.6666,
T = L/S.
9 = L/16.6666,
L = 9×16.6666,
L = 149.9,
L = 150.

Where,
Speed = Distance(s)/Time(t).
To convert speed into m/s from km/hr.
Then, use the formula = Speed x Time = 100/6 * 9 = 150m.

If you will convert Speed of the train which is 60km/hr.
Then it will be ( 150/9)m/sec,
You get the answer directly which is 150m.

= 9/3600*60*1000.
= 9 seconds/3600 seconds (We convert hours to seconds).
= 60*1000 (Convert KM to M).
= 9/3600*60000 = 150 M.
= 9 seconds/3600 seconds (We convert hours to seconds).
= 60*1000 (Convert KM to M).
= 9/3600*60000 = 150 M.

Distance = Time *speed.
1km =1000Meteres,
1hr =3600 seconds,
Distance = 60*9/3600 =9/60 km,
Distane in Metres =(9/60)*1000 =150M.
1km =1000Meteres,
1hr =3600 seconds,
Distance = 60*9/3600 =9/60 km,
Distane in Metres =(9/60)*1000 =150M.

For converting km to m 60*1000 = 60000m.
For converting hrs. to sec. 60 * 60 = 3600sec.
60000/3600 = 16.6666.
16.666 * 9 = 150.
For converting hrs. to sec. 60 * 60 = 3600sec.
60000/3600 = 16.6666.
16.666 * 9 = 150.

3600sec = 60*10^3m.
9sec = ?.
answer = 9*60000/3600 = 150m.
Its very simple,
But I like your methods of solving for answer.

60km = 60000m.
1hr = 3600sec.
Now, if 60000m = 3600sec,
x = 9sec.
x = 60000m * 9sec/3600sec.
x = 150m.
1hr = 3600sec.
Now, if 60000m = 3600sec,
x = 9sec.
x = 60000m * 9sec/3600sec.
x = 150m.

Speed = (60*(5/18)) divide 60&18 by 6, then,
Speed = (10*(5/3)) multiply 10 & 5,
Speed = (50/3).
That's all @Qaazi.
Speed = (10*(5/3)) multiply 10 & 5,
Speed = (50/3).
That's all @Qaazi.
