It can also be solve like this. By considering options only option C is dividing by 11.

Why we have to multiply 11 and 7700?

IF only HCF & LCM is given then how to find numbers.

eg: If 24 & 720 is HCF & LCM of TWO numbers respectively,find the numbers

This type of problem can be solved by a formula:

LCM X HCF = First No. X Second No.

Here
LCM=7700
HCF=11
First No.=275

7700 X 11 = 275 X Second No.
Second No.= 308

Let 2 no's with H.C.F 11 are 11x and 11y.

One of the numbers is 275.

L.C.M of 275 and 11y is 275y.

Given L.C.M = 7700.

275y = 7700 => y = 28.

Therefore another number=11*y = 11*28 =308.

Other number = H.C.F.* L.C.M/Given No.

= 11*7700/275
= 84700/275
= 308
Hence, the other number is 308.

HCF is included in LCM then why 11*7700/275?

It is based on formula,
Product of two nos = product of their HCF and LCM.

Refer important formula (4).
