1.
Father is aged three times more than his son Ronit. After 8 years, he would be two and a half times of Ronit's age. After further 8 years, how many times would he be of Ronit's age?
Answer: Option
Explanation:
Let Ronit's present age be x years. Then, father's present age =(x + 3x) years = 4x years.
![]() |
(4x + 8) = | 5 | (x + 8) |
2 |
8x + 16 = 5x + 40
3x = 24
x = 8.
Hence, required ratio = | (4x + 16) | = | 48 | = 2. |
(x + 16) | 24 |

A is 2 years older than C and B is 2 years younger than C. The ratio of A's 6 years ago and B's 8 years ago is 6 : 5. Find C's present age.

Age of son=x
then,
(x+3x)=4x
after 8 years
(4x+8)=2.5(x+8)
8x+16=5x+40
x=8
after 8 years
(4x+16)=y(x+16)
wkt x=8
s0,
y=(32+16)/(8+16)
y=2.
then,
(x+3x)=4x
after 8 years
(4x+8)=2.5(x+8)
8x+16=5x+40
x=8
after 8 years
(4x+16)=y(x+16)
wkt x=8
s0,
y=(32+16)/(8+16)
y=2.

F:S
3:1 *3 = 9p:3p
5:2 *2 = 10p:4p
1p = 8years.
5 * 8 + 8 : 2 * 8 + 8.
48 : 24.
While comparing both father is 2 times more than the son.
3:1 *3 = 9p:3p
5:2 *2 = 10p:4p
1p = 8years.
5 * 8 + 8 : 2 * 8 + 8.
48 : 24.
While comparing both father is 2 times more than the son.

If we will take Rohit's age I think it should be 3x (x+3).
If we will take Rohit's age as 1 it can be 4 only.
Correct me, If I am wrong.

5/2 simply how we can get 2 * 1/2 it implies 2*1/2=(4+1)1/2=>5/2.
The proper fraction will be used into the mixed fraction format.
